Las Golondrinas, perhaps because of its accessibility and availability, have always been my unfinished business as a photographer. Each year I tell myself "next is not without the dedicated few days" ... and the same thing happens every year: spend the time to play, and from the same sentence. I know hundreds of nests in all sorts of places, and now present is far less than the best, but a few weeks ago, my friend Agustin informed me the catastrophe in a colony, where some truly wild kids had destroyed more than ten nests. Since then he is completely devoted to monitoring the site, and try to keep the battered door closed, and with it has enabled a new generation are now about to fly. However, accompanying him on one visit, we saw this nest was less than 2 meters, and decided to try. The photos of the nest are taken from 3 feet, hidden behind a cloth, and shooting when the adult came with food (no barrier or anything) and a single flash. Now I have a new nest in the light that is in my own house, and I hope to tano spend some time and better lighting.
